Editing MachineWise Slift V2 (section)

==History==

The Slift V2 released in late December of 2022 and was discontinued in February of 2024. 

It is based on the Slift V1.

===Blade Steel===

The first batch of Slift V2 had AEB-L blades. The blade steel was later changed to S35VN.

===Differences===

The first couple of batches of Slift V2 had the exact same blade as the Slift V1. In later batches, [[MachineWise]] has decided to laser engrave their logo into the blade instead of milling it and completely removing the machining lines.

The jimping on the faces was removed.

Later versions of the Slift V2 started to use [[MachineWise]]'s own [[MachineWise#In-house_Hardware]].
